The 2026 Little League Softball World Series will continue with another slate of games on Monday, Aug. 3.The action hit a snag on Sunday, Aug. 2, after games in North Carolina were delayed due to weather.There was constant rain in the area, which kept the tarps out on the field and led to a reshuffling of the schedule for the final two games.California (West) and Kentucky (Central) faced a three-hour delay before the game managed to begin. Despite a fast start for the West, Kentucky managed to pull away with the victory in four innings after producing seven runs in the bottom of the first inning.The game between Canada and North Carolina was moved to Monday. It was initially scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Sunday.Japan managed to get the best of New Jersey, 4-1, in the second game of the evening, despite dealing with a two-hour rain delay.
