With Real Madrid reportedly ready to cough up nine figures for Diomand, time is of the essence. Complicating matters is an agency dispute involving Diomand as well. Sky Germanys Florian Plettenberg provided the update: RB Leipzig have officially confirmed for the first time that there is no agreement with Real Madrid for Yan Diomande.Boss Marcel Schfer: The deal is not done. Thats simply not the case. Were not at that stage yet.A breakthrough is not expected today.Diomande negotiations are independent of the Fisnik Asllani deal with TSG Hoffenheim. Separate transfer for different position.@philipphinze24 | @SkySportDEPlettenbergs Sky Germany colleague, Philipp Hinze, added context as well: Asked by Sky Germany whether the agent dispute could cause the Diomande transfer to fall through, RB Leipzig managing director Marcel Schfer said:From my perspective, its a clear no. Im not aware of that. There has been a change of agents. Our point of contact is now Roc Nation thats something Yan made very clear to us. () I dont think a transfer would fall through because of that, if it even comes to a transfer in the first place.@SkySportDEIf you wanted a deeper dive into the dispute between the agencies, AS journalist Carlos Forjanes:The official announcement of Yan Diomande s transfer to Real Madrid is being delayed due to a conflict between agents. On one side is Max Gradel (with his company Maxidel Management), and on the other is Roc Nation, the powerful multinational corporation owned by rapper Jay-Z. Roc Nation is currently handling Diomandes affairs, but Maxidel has filed a complaint with FIFA alleging breach of contract, given that Real Madrid negotiated with Roc Nation . Maxidel is the company that brought the Ivorian player from Legans to RB Leipzig last year, and the dispute is not merely an internal matter between companies, nor is it a minor issue. It affects the transfer between the German club and Real Madrid. According to FIFA regulations, it could significantly impact the registration of the talented winger.Diomand, of course, was linked to Bayern Munich in the winter, but his price tag is too expensive for a position that is not in need of bolstering in Bavaria. The youngsters exit would be a tough blow on the field for RB Leipzig, but would add a big jolt to clubs bank account if the move eventually goes through.
