The MLB trade deadline was here and gone in a flash, and just about each one of your California-based teams was active leading up to the cutoff Monday afternoon.Some clubs were more aggressive than others. Some looked to move off of players, while others were stacking their roster for a postseason run.There were a total of 15 moves made and finalized between the five teams on the day of the deadline, Aug. 3. There were a total of 22 transactions dating back to July 10. Here are all of the transactions and trades completed involving the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, San Diego Padres and the Athletics.San Francisco GiantsIt appears a rebuild is imminent in the Bay Area. The Giants were long rumored to want to shed some of their expensive contracts. Players wanted a chance to win somewhere and deserve that shot after a poor season in San Francisco. The Giants dealt infielder Luis Arraez and right-hand pitcher Caleb Kilian to the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for a couple of right-handed pitchers: Ramon Marquez and Marty Gair.They sent left-hand pitcher Robbie Ray to the Padres in an in-state trade that got them right-hand pitcher Miguel Mendez and infielder Joniel Hernandez in return. San Francisco sent outfielder Heliot Ramos across the country to play for the New York Yankees. In return, the Giants received left-hand pitcher Henry Lalane and shortstop Kaeden Kent.For the second consecutive year, the Giants did business with the Boston Red Sox. San Francisco got infielder Marcelo Mayer after sending left-hand pitcher Erik Miller to Boston.The Giants swapped right-hand pitchers with the Atlanta Braves. They sent Tyler Mahle and in return received Anthony Molina, who they immediately assigned to their Triple-A affiliate, Sacramento River Cats. Los Angeles DodgersThe Dodgers made a huge splash, and simultaneously angered the rest of the league after a deal with the Detroit Tigers to get their guy: two-time Cy Young-winning pitcher Tarik Skubal, the biggest name in this year's trade market, in exchange for outfielder Zyhir Hope and right-hand pitchers River Ryan and Brady Smith.They weren't done there. The Dodgers added catcher Hunter Feduccia from the Tampa Bay Rays while giving them outfielder Jack Suwinski. LA went after another catcher, so they called on the New York Mets and executed a trade that sent the Dodgers Ben Rortvedt, as right-hand pitcher Chayce McDermott heads to Queens, New York.The Dodgers swapped pitchers with the Kansas City Royals. Left-hand pitcher Kris Bubic goes to LA while Carlos Duran heads to Kansas City.Additionally, the Dodgers acquired right-hand pitcher Seth Halvorsen from the Colorado Rockies for outfielder Landyn Vidourek and right-hand pitcher Nick Frasso. Of course, they landed Robbie Ray in a deal with the Giants, sending right-hand pitcher Miguel Mendez and infielder Joniel Hernandez to the Bay.San Diego wasn't done there, though. In a deal with the Tigers, they received right-hand pitcher Casey Mize and third baseman Gage Workman. In return, Detroit got left-hand pitchers Kash Mayfield and Jackson Wolf. The Padres continued to trade away pitchers, sending Andrew Moore to the Pittsburgh Pirates for right-hand pitcher Hunter Stratton.In another deal with Pittsburgh, the Padres sent right-handed pitcher Ron Marinaccio in exchange for international bonus pool money.Los Angeles AngelsThe Los Angeles Angels were busy. They parted ways with a couple of fan favorites but were sure to get value in return.The Angels sent right-hand pitcher Jos Soriano to the Toronto Blue Jays, getting back in return infielder Arjun Nimmala, outfielder Eddie Micheletti and right-hand pitcher Angel Rivero.The team in Anaheim parted ways with outfielder Jo Adell, shipping him to the Cleveland Guardians for catcher Jacob Cozart.A deal with the Chicago Cubs sent the Angels catcher and designated hitter Moiss Ballesteros to southern California, along with Mason McGwire. In return, LA dealt right-hand pitcher Ryan Zeferjahn. The Angels and Pirates swapped right-hand pitchers with each other. Kirby Yates heads to Pittsburgh, while Kyle Robinson looks to shine in Los Angeles. Los Angeles dumped left-hand pitcher Brent Suter off to the Braves, receiving back infielder Nacho Alvarez Jr. Infielder Angel Arredondo joins the team that shares his name after the Texas Rangers traded him for catcher Logan O'Hoppe and right-hand pitcher Chase Silseth.Related: Best MLB farm systems after trade deadline? As a team that is focused on holding onto their core and building continuity, they weren't active in trade talks.However, they weren't completely in the dark going into the deadline. The A's put a few deals together, adding right-handed pitchers to their club that has had a focus on pitching and improvement in the bullpen.They traded outfielder Colby Thomas to the Phillies for right-hand pitcher Seth Johnson.The St. Louis Cardinals received cash considerations from the A's in exchange for Scott Blewett.
