While Mom and Dad Lombard were going to Florida to see Jacobs debut, they quickly pivoted (with Jacobs encouragement) after news of the older brothers MLB debut broke. Even cooler for the family is that both brothers homered yesterday, and while their parents only got to see Georges in person, cameras did catch them watching the younger brothers bomb on their cell phone.MLB.com | Bryan Hoch, Jared Greenspan: The organizations message to their top prospect after his call-up and ahead of his debut was quite simple: Go be you. George Lombard Jr. has seen success at every level hes been, easily earning the Yankees top prospect title, and its easy to see why. His phone was in his locker but he looked up at the TV in the gym and found out hes coming east to New York. Even though he had a hitless debut, Ramos talked about how cool it is to wear the pinstripes and how hes willing to play whatever role is necessary in order to help the club.
