Ohio State basketball landed in the top eight for one of the top point guards in the 2027 class. Four-star prospect Jason Gardner Jr. listed the Buckeyes as one of the final teams he is looking at via Joe Tipton of On3. Gardner is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound combo guard out of Fishers (Indiana) High School. He is listed as the No. 63 player overall in the 2027 recruiting cycle per 247 Sports Composite.According to Tipton's list, Ohio State will be competing with Auburn, Creighton, DePaul, Florida, Indiana, Mississippi State, and Stanford for Gardner's services. Ohio State is already getting a visit from Gardner on Oct. 3.
