The team had an 8-2 record in July and theyre catching fire at the right time.Theyve been in the headlines because of Sophie Cunninghams off-court takes, but now its the play on the court thats speaking the loudest. Kelsey Mitchell, Caitlin Clark, and Aliyah Boston are all balling out.Credit is also owed to head coach Stephanie White, and she has received it in the form of a Coach of the Month award. Even Stephen A. Smith called her out over her take.However, she led her team to a league-best 9-2 record. And the Lynx have looked like the best team in the league all season. So its not surprising that some fans think White shouldnt have gotten the award.One fan replied to the announcement, saying, Reeve went 9-2 in July, and is currently on a 10 game win streak including beating this woman but okay. A second one claimed, The agenda is crazy, man.Another added, Despite her garbage defensive strategy and inability to make any second half offensive adjustments. A fourth fan wrote, Shes been carried by the players, doesnt deserve this.Nope. Nope. Nope. She does her best to destroy an All-Star roster, claimed a fifth fan. I really thought she was the right coach but shes not proven anything to me, wrote another fan.It seems that White will have to continue winning at an extremely high clip if she really wants to convince a lot of these fans.
