Wednesday was certainly an eventful day for former Alabama Crimson Tide relief pitcher Chase Lee. After spending a majority of the 2026 season in the minor leagues, Lee officially returned to the MLB on Wednesday with the Toronto Blue Jays, and in doing so, recorded his first-career major league save. Lee allowed no earned runs over his lone inning of action during Wednesday's game, closing the door for Toronto in the ninth inning on their way to a 5-4 win.So far this season, Lee has made 35 appearances with Toronto's Triple-A team, the Buffalo Bisons. Lee owns a 3-1 overall record with a 2.20 ERA, a 40:18 K:BB ratio, and five saves across 45 innings pitched. The former sixth round pick from the 2021 MLB draft out of Alabama has now made four appearances with the Blue Jays this season. Lee owns a 6.23 ERA, a 1:4 K:BB ratio, and one save over his 4.1 innings pitched.
