Triston Casas injury: Red Sox first baseman undergoes surgery
Triston Casas faced another setback in his recovery from a wrist injury.The Red Sox announced the first baseman underwent successful arthroscopic wrist surgery on Thursday. Dr. Matthew Leibman at Newton-Wellesley Surgery Center in Wellesley performed the procedure. It has been a rough go of it for Casas of late.Casas hasnt played for the Red Sox since May 2025. It was not related to his 2024 rib injury.
