As embarassing as the final score was, Dream superstar Angel Reese, whom the franchise acquired this offseason via a trade with the Chicago Sky, was dominant.Reese scored 23 points and 16 rebounds while posting -3 +/- , which was especially impressive given the 22-point loss. Still, Reese faced heavy criticism for getting blown out. On Wednesday, she and the Dream got a crack at redemption against the Phoenix Mercury and didnt waste it.Atlanta defeated Phoenix, who acquired star point guard Kelsey Plum at the trade deadline, 96-82, and Reese showed why shes been an All-Star every season since she was drafted in 2024.The forward finished the game with yet another double-double, scoring 14 points on 7-for-14 shooting and snagging 10 rebounds to boot.
