MIAMI GARDENS The Miami Dolphins held their eighth training camp practice under first-year coach Jeff Hafley at the Baptist Health Training Complex.Hafley said it would be a long and tough practice. The team will have a practice at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 8, which is also open to fans.Miami fans have been showing up to see Malik Willis, De'Von Achane and rookies such as Kadyn Proctor, Chris Johnson and Jacob Rodriguez.Miami Dolphins training camp Day 9 Fins Up/Fins DownFins UpCaleb Douglas, WRCaleb Douglas, the rookie from Texas Tech, caught a deep ball from Malik Willis in 11-on-11.Then he did it again.The he caught more passes. The Willis to Douglas combination is intriguing. Douglas has the physical tools. Speed. Size. Range. Body control.If Douglas can improve his technique and consistency he may be a very good pick by general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan.Some felt Douglas as a third-round pick was a reach.Fins DownQuinn Ewers, QBEwers was intercepted by cornerback Miles Battle twice.Ewers has not had a particularly strong start to training camp.It should be noted that Ewers got off to a very slow start in his first training camp and recovered nicely.
