They then continued building around Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves to create a stronger roster for the upcoming season.However, the Lakers may have built a little too much. Los Angeles currently sits one roster spot over the NBAs limit.There are, however, obvious holes. However, the organization appears to be exploring the trade market first to see if they can make another deal or two before being forced into a difficult decision. So, I guess it's a competition between Bronny, Jaden Hardy, and Dalton Knecht. I think I'd probably lean Dalton," Buha said. "If any of the other wings get injured, it's just play one of the other wings more minutes, and it's not put Dalton in the rotation. So, he's the one that's the most expendable."It is a harsh reality for a player who took the NBA world by storm during the first month of his career. However, Knechts situation with the Lakers changed after he was traded to the Charlotte Hornets before the deal was ultimately rescinded and he returned to Los Angeles.Knecht is currently on a $18 million rookie contract. If the Lakers decide to move on from him, it would not create a major financial setback for the organization.
