(Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC)Amanda Lemos was almost off track already as she looks to break out of a career-worst skid.Heading into her UFC Vegas 120 matchup with Alexia Thainara, Lemos has lost consecutive fights for the first time in her career and is currently mired in a 2-4 slump. Lemos nearly hit another snag at the official weigh-ins for Saturdays event, twice stepping to the scale and twice coming in over the strawweight limit for a non-title bout, first at 117 pounds, and then stripping down to make 116.5 pounds (still 0.5 pounds over the limit).Lemos first two attempts were close together (though several fighters weighed in in between), so its unclear if one of the attempts was not considered official. Regardless, around an hour after the start of the two-hour weigh-in window, Lemos stripped down and stepped to the scale again and successfully made weight at 115.5 pounds, making her bout with Thainara official.Lightweight headliners Mateusz Gamrot and Quillan Salkilld were the first fighters to weigh in Friday and both fighters hit the mark for a non-title fight, coming in at 155.5 pounds. Gamrot is currently the No. 11 lightweight in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, with the streaking Salkilld close behind at No. 13.Also of note, Darren Elkins successfully made weight at 145.5 pounds for his final fight. The 42-year-old featherweight veteran has been with the UFC since 2010 and competes in a retirement bout Saturday when he takes on Yadier del Valle on the main card. All 24 fighters competing at UFC Vegas 120 successfully made weight.See Fridays official weigh-in results below.Main Card (Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET)Mateusz Gamrot (155.5) vs. Quillan Salkilld (155.5)Diego Ferreira (154.5) vs. Billy Quarantillo (155.5)Darren Elkins (145.5) vs. Yadier del Valle (145.5)Amanda Lemos (115.5)* vs. Alexia Thainara (115.5)Ty Miller (170.5) vs. Billy Ray Goff (170.5)Preliminary Card (Paramount+ at 5 p.m. ET)Steven Asplund (263.5) vs. Guilherme Pat (249.5)Diyar Nurgozhay (205) vs. Bruno Lopes (204.5)Louie Sutherland (258) vs. Jose Montanha da Silva (258.5)Manoel Sousa (156) vs. Richie Miranda (155.5)Miles Johns (145.5) vs. Gianni Vazquez (143)Juliana Miller (125.5) vs. Ravena Oliveira (125.5)GiGi Canuto (116) vs. Carol Foro (116)*Lemos initially stepped the scale at 117 pounds, then stripped down for a second attempt shortly after and came in at 116.5 pounds, still over the limit.
