While Smith and Ward both played on teams that finished with just three wins, Herbert guided the Chargers to an 11-6 record despite facing constant pressure throughout the season.Herbert Stands Out. The contrast couldnt be more dramatic.Las Vegas and Tennessee struggled all season long, and their quarterbacks spent much of the year under siege behind inconsistent offensive lines. For the Chargers, however, Herbert overcame similar circumstances and still helped lead his team to one of the better records in the AFC.It serves as a reminder that sack totals dont always define quarterback play.
