Now it's Bridgewater's turn to try for the golden ticket to Williamsport, Pennsylvania.The Bridgewater Little Leaguers, recently crowned state champs, are gearing up for the New England Region Tournament in Bristol, Connecticut. The winner there moves on to Williamsport for the Little League World Series, set for Aug. 19-30.Bridgewater will open play in the four-team New England tournament on Saturday, Aug. 8 against Maine state champ Gray New Gloucester (1 p.m., ESPN+).
