Aug. 8Spokane fighter Juliana Miller used a second-round submission to claim her third UFC win, beating Ravena Oliveira via rear-naked choke on Saturday in a UFC Fight Night flyweight bout in Las Vegas.It was a crucial win for Miller (6-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC), who came into the event with one win in her past four UFC fights. The 2022 Ultimate Fighter winner relied on wrestling and grappling to put Oliveira (7-4-1) on the defensive, and Miller eventually worked her way to her opponent's back after a takedown, locked in a chokehold and forced a submission at the 1:38 mark of Round 2."We were fighting for our jobs," Miller said during her post-fight interview.
