Only 35 days are left before we see the New Orleans Saints take the field for their 2026 regular season opener. This season, the Saints will start their year on the road when facing the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Sept. 13. Wearing No. 35 for New Orleans in training camp is Elliott Davison at safety.Davison, an undrafted rookie in 2025, spent last year on the New Orleans practice squad. He now has a second chance to make the roster, but in what appears to be an even deeper defensive backfield.
