Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.When Aaron Nola took the mound on Saturday night, it came with the hopes of tying up the Philadelphia Phillies' series with the Toronto Blue Jays, following their extra-inning loss during the opening match.The Phillies' starter would have himself quite a solid outing, taking to the rubber for five innings in which he would fan eight batters, allowing six hits, two earned runs, and two walks. All things considered, his outing against Toronto was one of his better outings since the All-Star break, as Nola has failed to record a win since the mid-Summer classic, posting an ERA of 4.50 in that stretch.However, Nola's night would come to an early end on Saturday night, after the Phillies pulled him following a line drive shot to the leg in the top of the sixth inning.
