He's one of the most talented edge rushers in the league, no doubt, but he can't do it alone.The Lions have never really gone out on a limb to secure an A-lister to go with Hutchinson. That's been problematic. But, that's just the reality.Now, Dan Campbell, Aaron Glenn and Detroit are being encouraged to trade one of their defensive pieces ahead of the new season, while they can still get something in return for him.Lions told to part ways with Aidan Hutchinson complementThe Lions only recently signed edge rusher Payton Turner to a deal back in March. But, even though he's the new kid on the block, the team is already being encouraged to trade him away.In a piece out on Monday, Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report tells the Lions to trade Turner."The Detroit Lions have been steadily searching for edge-rushers to play opposite standout Aidan Hutchinson," he notes. "While they're still looking for their top complement, they may have a surplus of depth entering the preseason."It's certainly the case that instead of getting one solid guy to stand with Hutch, the Lions have signed a bunch of smaller stars to the roster at his position. That has created a bit too many."If the Lions are happy with their edge depth early in the preseason, Turner would be a logical trade candidate," Knox adds in the piece.
