The Premier League clubs participating in Europe, including defending Carabao Cup champion Manchester City, will join in the third round.The draw gives Jaissle a home game for his first cup fixture as Newcastle head coach, although its placement on the schedule is far from ideal, as the West Brom game will come just two or three days immediately after the game against Liverpool and three or four before the trip to London.The matchup will also end a lengthy gap between meetings between Newcastle and West Brom.
