Spanish Super Cup to be played in IstanbulThe Spanish Super Cup, scheduled for February 2027, will be played at the Atatrk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul the Spanish Football Federation has announced.Between 2-7 February, Barcelona, Atltico de Madrid, Real Sociedad and Real Madrid will compete in the tournament to decide this editions winner.Since 2022, the most recent editions of the competitionhavebeen held in Saudi Arabiabut the staging of the Asian Cup during that period prevented the competition from being organised there in 2027.Last season, Barcelona lifted the trophy after defeating Athletic Club 5-0 in the semi-finals before a 3-2 victory over Real Madrid.
