When the Dallas Cowboys took the field against the Seattle Seahawks, it would have been hard to imagine Camden Brown leading the team in receiving yards and touchdowns. With veterans like Jonathan Mingo and Marquez Valdes-Scantling on the roster and ahead of him on the depth chart, it was a pleasant surprise. The Cowboys' coaching staff had seen Brown excel during OTAs and training camp, but this was their first chance to see him produce in live game action, and he didn't disappoint.Brown was Saturday night's player of the game for Dallas, not only for scoring both Cowboys touchdowns, but for everything else he did on the field as well. Dallas found themselves behind the sticks thanks to back-to-back penalties on OL Marcus Johnson. The 2nd-and-15 didn't deter, as Milton found Brown for a 21-yard completion. He also showed off his route-running skills and ability to go up and make plays on the football, using his strong hand to snatch the football out of the air and protect it as defenders tried to take it away.Brown's performance only improved his chances of making the roster, and could make it much more difficult for Dallas to stash him on the practice squad. If he can continue building on performances like this, the Cowboys may have found another weapon for an already talented passing attack.
