Motorsport Ireland driver William Creighton says he will be discharged from hospital on Sunday after being involved in a crash at Barum Czech Rally Zlin.Creighton and co-driver Liam Regan went off the road on the fourth stage of the European Rally Championship round in the Czech Republic on Saturday.Creighton said Regan suffered "some fractures" and will remain in hospital, but is "stable".The stage was stopped by organisers after the crash so medical and rescue teams could attend to the crew from Northern Ireland.Regan was airlifted to the T Bata Regional Hospital in Zlin after being extricated from the crew's Citroen C3 Rally2, and was described by organisers on Saturday as conscious and in a stable condition."Unfortunately, on SS4 of Barum Czech Rally Zin we went off the road on a fast right-hand corner and came to a sudden stop," Creighton said in a statement. "I am OK and will be discharged from hospital today (Sunday). Unfortunately, Liam has suffered some fractures and will need to remain in hospital, but he is stable."I want to really thank all the first responders, rescue crews and medical teams, especially the doctors and nurses at the Tomas Bata Regional Hospital for their amazing care. Also, thank you to the competitors who stopped to help at the accident."My thoughts are with Liam and his full recovery."Regan has been Creighton's co-driver for the majority of his career and the pair won the British Rally Championship title last year and the Junior World Rally Championship in 2023.The rally will continue on stage five, and is currently being led by local driver Filip Mares and co-driver Radovan Bucha.
