The start of the 2026 high school football season is nearly here, and several FSU Seminoles commits had impressive showings over the weekend in their final preseason action.Three-star athlete commit Chayse Brown is being recruited as someone who could play on either side of the ball for the Seminoles, and he showcased his ability as a wide receiver on Friday for Lennard High School in their exhibition against Osceola. In the first clip he posted on social media, Brown was able to beat the cornerback and make a tough catch for about a 30-yard gain with the safety closing in. They are recruiting him as a wide receiver and a defensive back.He is ranked as the No. 611 overall player and No. 51 athlete in the 247Sports composite. The Ruskin product is also the No. 79 player from Florida.The 6-foot-1, 165-pounder had a productive sophomore season for Lennard, catching 20 passes for 334 yards and three touchdowns and making six tackles and one interception in 11 games.
