With brakewoman Emily Renna, Armbruster Humphries relegated Lisa Buckwitz / Lauryn Siebert (0.27 seconds behind) to second place in Sigulda 🇱🇻. Second consecutive victory for skeleton athlete Kim Meylemans: In Sigulda 🇱🇻, the Belgian thus celebrated her fourth podium finish in the fourth race of the Olympic winter. Kim Meylemans is also the anniversary winner of the Women's Skeleton World Cup: The IBSF World Cup in Sigulda on 19 December marked the 200th anniversary race for female skeleton athletes. ✨ Anna Fernstaedt (0.08 seconds behind) celebrated second place and her second podium finish for Czechia in Sigulda. Amelia Coltman (0.14 seconds behind) came third. World Cup title defender Janine Flock, who was in the lead after the first World Cup run in Sigulda, fell just short of the podium places in the final and finished fourth ahead of Olympic Champion Hannah Neise and Britain's Freya Tarbit in fifth and sixth place.
