Regional tournaments will kick off this week across the country.Seven regionals are starting up in the coming days, with host cities ranging from San Bernardino, California, to Bristol, Connecticut. One spot has already been clinched in last week's North Carolina regional, with Johnston County beating out 2024 champions Pitt County for a guaranteed spot in the World Series bracket.Still, there are seven more spots up for grabs in the United States. If you think the waiver wire QB options in a 1QB NFL league are attractive, wait until you get a taste of a 68-team wire with 18 total roster spots per team.However, when you expand to include a Superflex position that allows managers to start two quarterbacks per week, then the entire quarterback dynamic changes and it becomes an arms race to acquire four stable, reliable signal-callers you can start at any given time if byes or tough matchups emerge.As such, Superflex allows for two divergent draft strategies to emerge simultaneously.There are teams that prioritize getting two star quarterbacks in the first three rounds before rounding out their skill positions. And then other drafters will choose to vacuum up RB/WR/TEs before pivoting to address the middle-tier of quarterbacks after filling out the rest of their lineup. If done correctly, either aggressive strategy can be successful. If you opt to go with two flexes and a Superflex, then be prepared to churn the back end of your roster, and understand that players who start slow and/or are questionable starters will have short leashes.Keeping up with depth chart movement and injuries is vital to your success as a college fantasy manager. Once the season starts, you need to throw draft position out the window and live for the moment. The fewer bench spots you have available, the more difficult it becomes to stash backups and underperforming players.Bottom LineIf you don't have two rock-solid, every-week starting quarterbacks, in addition to rostering a quality third option to start during bye weeks and unfavorable matchups, then you will be losing ground. Twenty points out of your QB1 is simply unacceptable. Ideally, you need to be scoring at least 25+ points out of each QB spot in order to have an advantage over your competition. In standard 4-point passing touchdowns leagues, dual-threat signal-callers are a premium. If a quarterback isn't capable of generating 250+ rushing yards and 4+ touchdowns on the ground, then they're not going to be worth an investment until at least the mid-rounds. The numbers simply don't add up for statuesque, pro-style gunslingers in 4-point passing touchdown leagues.

Malik Nabers wont land on PUP list to begin campThe Nabers injury saga has been the top news story of the offseason, being monitored by fantasy managers closely. The latest as Giants training camp gets underway is Nabers not headed for the PUP list initially, per ESPN.This is a great first step in his quest to be ready for Week 1. Things can change and the Giants could opt to place Nabers on the list at a later date in camp, depending on how he looks. It also doesnt mean Nabers will be back at practice immediately. New York opens camp next week on July 28 in West Virginia. Well of course be keeping an eye on Nabers return to practice and his progress throughout camp. Expect his ADP to fluctuate as we head into draft season. Right now, Nabers sits as the WR24 on Yahoo early ADP due to the concern he wont be ready for the start of the season. Liam Coen praises Bhayshul TutenAs if the Tuten hype train didn't already have enough steam get ready to hear his name plenty as we head into draft season. The Jaguars lost Travis Etienne Jr. to the Saints in free agency, opening the door for Tuten to slide in and be the RB1. Jacksonville also brought in Chris Rodriguez Jr., and LeQuint Allen Jr. is expected to play a role. But head coach Liam Coen is already telling reporters that Tuten had a "really good spring" and the back "does a great job of finding the end zone". Both those sentiments bode well for Tuten flying up draft boards so long as he keeps it up at camp and into preseason. Yahoo analyst Justin Boone goes over the Jags' backfield battle a bit more here. Zach Charbonnet starts season on PUP listThe Seahawks officially placed the running back on the PUP list to begin 2026, meaning Charb will miss a minimum of four games to start the year. This was an expected move and we anticipate Charbonnet returning at some point in the middle of the campaign. Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters last month that Charbonnet is "doing a great job" in his recovery. For now, we'll be monitoring the Seahawks' RB battle between rookie Jadarian Price and journeymen Emanuel Wilson and George Holani. More from Boone on that situation here. Jacoby Brissett reports to Cardinals campBrissett is seeking a new contract but reported to camp on Wednesday and won't be holding out, it seems. Arizona also signed rookie QB Carson Beck to his contract this week. Brissett should be the starting QB for the Cards in Week 1 but there will be some competition between him, Beck and veteran Gardner Minshew. The two sides did have productive talks, per new head coach Mike LaFleur.This is still a situation to monitor. There's a scenario where Beck (or even Minshew) outplays Brissett and Arizona decides not to pay the latter. It's unlikely, but plausible. In any case, Brissett has some built-in chemistry with TE Trey McBride and WR Michael Wilson from last season. But everyone is learning a new offense under LaFleur. Don't forget about Jonathon BrooksIf Tuten is going to be the most talked about RB throughout camp for fantasy, Brooks may come in as a close second. A second-rounder in 2024, Brooks has suffered multiple torn ACLs starting in his last season of college and he missed all of last season with another one. He appears to be healthy and is already being hyped up by head coach Dave Canales. Tyreek Hill has 'no power in his left legThat comes straight from the wide receiver's mouth, a player who dislocated his knee and tore multiple ligaments in Week 4 of last season. Hill didn't mention any timeline but is convinced he'll be back playing football at some point. Doctors had originally told him he may not walk again. So while talk of a return is encouraging, it still feels like a long-shot we see Hill on a football field this season. He remains a free agent and we'll have to see if that changes during the season, otherwise he shouldn't have much of a fantasy impact in 2026.

He was a 44th minute substitute in the finale."Today, I find myself writing the hardest words of my entire career," Otamendi wrote on Instagram. "I dreamed as a very young boy of wearing the Argentina national team shirt and it was the greatest privilege that football gave me.
