Manchester City have given Abdukodir Khusanov a new five-year deal after concluding the has all the attributes required to become a world-class central defender.The 22-year-old, a 33.5m signing from Lens in January 2025, has recovered from a traumatic debut against Chelsea to go on to become a key player in the second half of last season. Khusanov started in both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup finals as City won twice at Wembley and excelled in their Champions League tie against Real Madrid. But these werent the only moves in rebuilding the roster and building a solid foundation.Eva Geitheim of Sports Illustrated took a look at all of the Titans' moves and found one that could haunt them moving forward.Tennessee Titans: Overpaying WanDale RobinsonThe Titans were in desperate need of receiver help, and thus turned to WanDale Robinson in free agency, signing the 58 receiver to a four-year, $70 million deal. While Robinsons deal is far from what the best receivers are making, and there are only $38 million in guarantees in his contract, its still a steep price for a receiver who narrowly surpassed 1,000 yards for the first time last season and has an injury history. Robinson, of course, can be a net positive for the Titans, particularly if he proves to be the reliable playmaker Ward needs, but this is also a move that might not age well.From the start, this move has been somewhat polarizing, and definitely has a boom-or-bust feel. Sports Illustrateds Karl Rasmussen ranked the 10 best in the NFL, with the Who Dey! chant checking in at No. 6.If youve ever wondered how the Who Dey! chant came to be, heres how, according to Rasmussen:The Bengals chant originated in 1981, stemming from a popular local car commercial and a beloved beer, Hudepohl. It was dueling chants, making for an awesome pregame environment.Hopefully there will be many Who Dey! chants coming in 2026 at Paycor Stadium, especially against the Saints in Week 12 on Nov. 29, and on the road as well.

The Las Vegas Aces will be looking to run it back as defending champs with the reigning MVP, A'ja Wilson, leading the way. Lots of other contenders hope to have something to say about that including the Atlanta Dream, New York Liberty and Indiana Fever. The Fever, who were without floor leader Caitlin Clark for much of last season, are fully healthy. The Liberty, who were also bitten by the injury bug last season, already have Sabrina Ionesco on the sidelines after she rolled her ankle in a preseason game against the Connecticut Sun.
