SPORTS.YAHOO.COMBayern Munich News: The aftermath of FC Bayern vs. SV Wehen Wiesbaden; Al-Hilal to make big offer for Luis Daz; and MORE!WIESBADEN, GERMANY - JULY 25: Vincent Kompany, Head coach of FC Bayern Mnchen reacts during the pre-season friendly match between SV Wehen Wiesbaden and FC Bayern Mnchen at BRITA-Arena on July 25, 2026 in Wiesbaden, Germany. (Photo by Christian Kaspar-Bartke/Getty Images) | Getty ImagesDie Folgen: Bayerns 2-1 loss to SV Wehen Wiesbaden (Bavarian Football Works)Bayern Munich opened its preseason with a not-so-shocking 2-1 loss to SV Wehen Wiesbaden, but there is no reason to panic. Head coach Vincent Kompany went heavy on youngsters as his starting XI was all teenagers, who had some moments, just not enough against the wiser, more veteran home side. Les get into it, here is a very brief synopsis of our takes from the match: As always, lets begin with the starting XI: Lets go! Our line-up for this afternoons friendly. : https://t.co/A60apMJzvSpic.twitter.com/KTX5PaGsWi FC Bayern (@FCBayernEN) July 25, 2026In a really odd move, Vincent Kompany literally fielded a team full of kids, which he has never done before. Kompany is truly working to #EmbraceRotation, eh?The average age of Bayern Munichs starting lineup was 17.6 years.Goalkeeper David Podar-Stiube had an aggressive rollout that just evaded midfielder Simon Schaff. Unfortunately, SV Wehen Wiesbaden was too veteran for the kids in this instances and immediately seized the opportunity and turned it directly into a goal from Ibrahim Ati Allah just 10 minutes into the game. The YouTube comments during the broadcast were hilarious. Did anyone expect a bunch of high school aged-kids to really outplay a bunch of men? Had I known Kompany was going to roll with the Romper Room squad, I would have predicted the game differently, but it was fine. The kids getting some run wasnt bad, especially in a World Cup season where we could see a lot more rotation under Kompany than we have ever seen before. There is not a ton that could really be gleaned from this game. The kids were okay and some of the veterans did well, but this was nothing more than a game to shake off the rust.Tom Bischofs PK was powerful, but he did get a bit lucky as a better goalkeeper would have been able to keep it out of the net. Overall, losing was no big deal. Bayern Munich preseason could be littered with losses, as the Bavarians will barely have a full side all together before the season starts. The kids really did not do that bad and it was a good opportunity for them to play at a higher level. For this match, that is really all that counts.Al-Hilal to make big offer for Daz? (Liverpool.com)Would Luis Daz consider leaving Bayern Munich already? Probably not. Would the Bavarians consider selling him? Almost definitely not.Still, Al-Hilal is allegedly trying to pull off a steal: Fresh from signing the Netherlands forward Crysencio Summerville in a transfer deal worth around $80 million (60 million) from West Ham, Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal wants to bring in the former Liverpool winger Luis Diaz.Al Hilal now has Diaz at the top of its list this summer, according to Gianluigi Longari. The Saudi side previously explored the idea of trying to tempt Kane to join too, but that move proved fruitless. It feels like if Bayern Munich was actually going to consider a sale, it would want a lot more for the Colombian after spending 70 million on him last summer. ICYMI: Pirlo to coach Italy per report (Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano)It looks like Italy has settled on its next coach Andrea Pirlo: Italian Federation approached Andrea Pirlo today over head coach role for the next four years.Hes now clear favorite to take over and become new Italy head coach.Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti both turned down the approaches. pic.twitter.com/Pkl65OR7Ra Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) July 24, 2026Life comes at you fast, though, as Pirlo accepted the job: BREAKING: Andrea Pirlo accepts the verbal proposal and hes set to become new Italy head coach, here we go!Pirlo said yes to long term project presented by Paolo Maldini and Leonardo.Hes set to sign in the upcoming days, waiting for formal steps. pic.twitter.com/JEEz6wg5AI Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) July 24, 2026Real serious about Rodri (Sky Germanys Florian Plettenberg)Real Madrid could be plotting a big move for Manchester City defensive midfielder and reigning World Cup champion Rodri: Real Madrid are working intensively on a move for Rodri. He is now one of Florentino Prezs top transfer targets. ManCity are hoping to extend Rodris contract, but a return to Spain is a concrete option. #MCFCTalks with Rodris representatives have now started. Real Madrid are willing to offer a contract until 2030 as per @berger_pj @SkySportDESay it aint so (its definitely not): A loan to Galatasaray for Musiala? (Sport Bilds Christian Falk)You know you are entering silly season when there some ludicrous sounding rumors like this one Bayern Munich considering a loan of Jamal Musiala to Galatasaray. Sport Bild journo Christian Falk shot down the completely random report: It isNOT TRUE: Jamal Musiala has been offered on loan to Galatasaray. I knocked on the door at Musialas camp, and they said, Are you joking? There is no idea to give the Germany international away on loan to any club in world football. Hes still an important part of Bayern Munich, and everyone likes the fact hes back on the pitch. We reported previously that the 23-year-old used the break (as Germany were knocked out of the World Cup early) to get a new operation to remove the metal plate in his foot (placed after his initial operation). We think that hell be back on the training pitch by the end of July. Then, hell wear the Bayern Munich jersey and no other!Vlahovi could go back to Juve if he takes pay cut (Tuttosport via ESPN)Duan Vlahovi could actually go back to Juventus if he is willing to take a pay cut: Free agent striker Dusan Vlahovic could return to Juventus if he lowers his wage demands. The 26-year-old hasnt responded to Besiktas and maintains hope of getting back onto Barcelonas radar. SPORTS.YAHOO.COMMexico open U20 tournament with victory over Antigua and BarbudaMexico defeated Antigua and Barbuda by a 3-0 score in their opening match of the 2026 U20 CONCACAF Championship. Mexico dominated the match from the start and had a good first half but their play in the 2nd was severely inferior to what they had shown early on. Mexico will now face off against Costa Rica (who also won their opening match) on Monday while Antigua and Barbuda faces off against Guatemala. The 1st half started with Mexico coming out with their better lineup including Chivas standouts, Hugo Camberos and Santiago Sandoval. After getting into the area, Camberos would be tripped but nothing was called. After going to VAR, the ref decided to give a Penalty Kick to Mexico, who would have a chance for the early led. Hugo Camberos stepped up to take the PK and got off a right footed shot past Antigua and Barbudas goalkeeper, Tegan Gumbs to score and give Mexico the 1-0 lead. Mexico continued to dominate against an Antigua and Barbuda side that kept sitting back and defending. A great thru pass from Sandoval would find Camberos, who got into the area and crossed the ball to Aldahir Valenzuela, who got off a close range left footed shot past Gumbs to score and give Mexico the 2- lead. It was a great combination goal that made the score a better reflection of how the game had gone. Off a free kick, Samir Inda got off a great left footed shot that hit the post in what would have been a sure goal had it been just a little left, as the goalkeeper was totally beaten. A cross into the area was deflected into a wide open Luis Gomez, who incredibly failed to head the ball and just deflected it wide in a terrible miss. Off a free kick, the ball was almost deflected into his own net by Valenzuela. A cross into the area was lowered by Sandoval but his right footed shot went wide. After a giveaway, Inda would win the ball but his left footed shot was saved by Gumbs. Henrique Simeone got off a right footed shot from outside the are that went well wide. Once again there would be a giveaway by Antigua and Barbuda and Gomez would cross the ball to a wide open Santiago Sandoval, who got off a left footed shot past Gumbs to give Mexico the 3-0 lead. The whistle blew and Mexico had a deserved lead as they had totally dominated the match from the start. The 2nd half started with Antigua and Barbuda subbing out Jordan Francis for Jevaughn Jarvis. From outside the area, Gomez got off a shot that was easily saved by Gumbs. A cross into the area was almost headed into his own net by Jedique Adams. Sandoval got off a left footed shot that was easily saved by Gumbs. After winning the ball in the area, Valenzuela left the ball there for a great opportunity to Gomez but he sent his right footed shot straight to Gumbs, in a terrible miss. Mexico subbed out Juan Echilvestre, Henrique Simeone and Aldahir Valenzuela for Luis Carmona, Juan Sigala and Diego Ramirez. Antigua and Barbuda subbed out Vaughn Jackson for Jermarion Edwards. From outside the area Sigala would get off a shot that would go well wide. Antigua and Barbuda subbed out injured Brandon Satchell for Conroy Brown. After getting into the area, Ramirez got off a left footed shot that went wide. Mexico subbed out Samir Inda and Santiago Sandoval for Diego Covarrubias for Diego Reyes. Off a free kick, a cross into the area was badly handled by Mexicos goalkeeper Juan Liceaga but Mexicos defense was able to clear the ball. Antigua and Barbuda subbed out Marco Michael and Ivan Grant for Zidaan Williams and Brenden Skilling. A cross into the area was lowered into the path of Ramirez, who got off a shot from close range that hit the post. From outside the area, Adams would get off a great left footed shot that forced Liceaga to make a wonderful save. The final whistle blew and although Mexico got a deserved victory, their play in the 2nd half left a somewhat sour taste for their fans in the easiest match of the group stage.Mexico got a winning start to their U20 CONCACAF Championship over a weak Antigua and Barbuda. In a victory very reminiscent of their 2017 victory over Antigua and Barbuda (also by a 3-0 score with all the goals coming in the 1st half), Mexico left a lot to be desired in the 2nd half and it might sound alarms in a very important tournament that not only gives the tickets to the U20 World Cup but also to the Olympic games. Mexico will face off against Costa Rica on Monday, with the winner getting the sole spot up top of the group. While Antigua and Barbuda will play against Guatemala.0 Comments 0 Shares 47 Views 0 Reviews

SPORTS.YAHOO.COMVirginia Tech football: Answering 4 questions about the 2026 HokiesJul 16, 2026; Charlotte, NC, USA; Virginia Tech head coach James Franklin speaks to the media during Media Day at Hilton Charlotte Uptown. Mandatory Credit: Jim Dedmon-Imagn Images | Jim Dedmon-Imagn ImagesCollege football is almost here. The Virginia Tech Hokies will begin fall camp in less than two weeks. And while there is excitement in and around Blacksburg for every season, this one is a bit different. You can thank new head coach James Franklin. However, Virginia Techs financial commitment spearheaded everything, including Franklins hiring. The Hokies also have a new athletic director Brian White who has already made multiple impressive hires in revamping the entire athletic department. The Hokies finished 3-9 last season, but theres little doubt that theyll be better in 2026. How much better? We shall see. College Football News recently previewed the upcoming 2026 ACC season with 26 questions. CFN posed four questions about the 2026 Hokies. Lets break down each one. Just how fast can James Franklin make Virginia Tech an ACC powerhouse? How CFN answered:Soon. Go ahead and buy in, but itll take a year to get to ACC powerhouse level but that doesnt mean it cant be an 8-win season for the first time since 2019.Franklin brought in a slew of Penn State transfers to go with a solid base to build on. The lines have to be way better, and they will be. The Hokies failed to score 24 points in ten of the 11 FBS games, and thats about to change in a hurry.Soon. We agree. And while CFN may not be optimistic about 8 wins in Year 1, we believe its highly possible. The key for Virginia Tech is a fast start. That road stretch over the final six weeks is brutal. If the Hokies somehow win one of those games, getting to 8 wins is very possible. Two games Virginia Tech must win are at Maryland on Sept. 19 and at home against Pittsburgh on Oct. 2. That would mean a 5-0 start. Why not?Whos the best new ACC head coaching hire? How CFN answered:James Franklinis the easy and obvious answer hell take Virginia Tech to a whole new level. There were only two other new hires Tosh Lupoi at Cal, and Tavita Pritchard at Stanford. Both were excellent gets, but Lupoi will have far more instant success. This one is obvious. I would go as far as to say its the best hire this offseason. Yeah, I know all about Lane Kiffin. But when you consider where Virginia Tech was as a program, the financial commitment to football, Franklins shocking availability and his recruiting prowess in the region, there was no better match between school and coach this offseason. Which team could be this years Virginia? How CFN answered:The ACC team that could go from blah to boffo is Virginia Techwent 3-9 last season, but with all of the great transfers brought in by James Franklin, this should be more of a tweak than a total overhaul. It wont be a breeze with a tough ACC schedule, but theres energy, motivation, and plenty of talent for a quick turnaround.OK, Hokie fans, ignore the headline for a minute. No Virginia Tech fan wants to be compared to Virginia in football. Well, in anything for that matter, but follow along here. The Cavaliers went from a bottom-feeder to first place last season. UVas success in the transfer portal was a primary reason for its fast success last season. So was luck and a soft schedule. But you cant take anything away from the Hoos. It was an impressive turnaround. Is it sustainable? Who knows. You cant expect the same type of hit rate from the portal and the same luck every year. You need to build a program. Of course, doing so in this era feels almost impossible. Franklin is a builder, though. So, when CFN asks who will be the next Virginia, it means an impressive one-year turnaround. Name a better candidate than Virginia Tech in 2026? You cant. Finally, there was one more question, and VT fans will love the answer. Who are the three best teams in the ACC?How CFN answered:Miami Theres a ton of rebuilding to do, but itll take something special for anyone in the ACC to touch this bunch.Louisville Can Lincoln Kienholz be up to the task at quarterback? If so, the Cardinals should have everything in place to play for the ACC title.Virginia Tech Lets dive in headfirst. Itll take a full offseason to get the defense and offensive line right, and Penn State transfer Ethan Grunkemeyer has to be great, but James Franklin has something big brewing. Can Virginia Tech be a top-3 team in 2026? Sure. But, in this instance, I believe were missing something here: SMU. The Mustangs have won more games than any team in the ACC outside of Miami since entering the league in 2024. Rhett Lashlee is an excellent coach, and Kevin Jennings is one of the ACCs top quarterbacks. Its difficult not to see SMU finishing among the leagues top three teams. The Hokies will also be competing with Clemson to finish among the top teams. Its a difficult road, but the mystery surrounding Virginia Tech, with its new roster and coaching staff, makes them the most intriguing team in the ACC for 2026.0 Comments 0 Shares 61 Views 0 Reviews

SPORTS.YAHOO.COMWNBA All-Star weekend winners and losers: Big business, bigger trophies and missed opportunitiesCHICAGO With the weight of CBA negotiations left in the past, the 2026 WNBA All-Star break gave off lighter vibes than a year ago. In the leagues 30th season, the growth showed everywhere and culminated in Teresa Weatherspoons roster defeating Cynthia Coopers, 129-122, in front of an All-Star record 19,783 fans at the United Center in Chicago. The mini break featured a visit by President Barack Obama, an endless stream of content from the StudBudz live stream and a new crop of winners and losers to encompass it all.Winner: Generational Shooting StarsElena Delle Donne knocking down shots in a vintage WNBA jersey? Give. Us. All. Of. It.The Shooting Stars competition replaced the Skills Challenge on Friday night, and it proved to be a winner. The Washington team of Delle Donne (legend), Shakira Austin (current player) and Jezelle GG Banks (EYBL high school player) won by defeating the Dallas/Detroit team in the finals. The generational structure in place as a 30th anniversary honor shouldnt be dropped in subsequent years. It showcased what was, what is and what will be in a fun way. Delle Donne spoke at length about the growth of the league and the All-Star festivities a mere three years after retiring. Imagine what it will look like by the time Banks is in the league.Winner: Jonquel Jones racking up MVPsThe trophy case keeps growing for the 6-foot-6 center known as JJ.Built for the moment Jonquel Jones talks on her love for the game after becoming the All-Star MVP, and she's appreciative of it ALL!#WNBAAllStar2026 | @ATTpic.twitter.com/fmUN9CbX0y WNBA (@WNBA) July 26, 2026Jones became the first player in WNBA history to win league MVP (2021), Commissioners Cup MVP (2023), Finals MVP (2024) and All-Star MVP. She earned the latest honor with a near triple-double, finishing her 22 minutes on the court for Team Spoon with 22 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists. She was efficient (8 of 17) and solid from beyond the arc. Never forget she quite nearly won a 3-point competition in 2024.The Liberty champion played this years game the day of the memorial for her aunt, Marilyn Anita Knowles, who died late last month. Its also a bright moment for New York, which has not had many of late amid a frustrating slide in the standings.Loser: Jonquel Jones and the dark side of a live feedIt was far from a rosy weekend for Jones. The six-time All-Star caught flak earlier in the weekend for comments caught on the StudBudz feed. She supposedly said that her 2019 Connecticut Sun team, which featured Courtney Williams and was five minutes away from a title, deserved to win that WNBA championship, whereas the 2024 Lynx deserved it over her Liberty squad. The comments were honest and regular sports talk any fan might have with a friend at the local bar. The Sun were well on their way to that title, and the loss of it collapsed a historic core. The Lynx could have also taken Game 5, and it will be marred forever by head coach Cheryl Reeve saying immediately after the loss, that s*** was stolen from us. Both series went to a winner-take-all Game 5.As Jones clarified on Saturday night, it didnt come out the way she meant it and there was nothing deeper to it.What I was just saying is that you can have a team that has a lot of chemistry, is great on paper, that has had a great season, and its still not enough to get it done, Jones said. And thats what I was trying to explain to her with that whole clip. That it blew up on social media clearly impacted her weekend, and she took nearly a minute to compose herself through sobs before explaining how much the New York organization means to her and that the moment misrepresented that. Its unfortunate her All-Star weekend was marred in that way, and proved once again there is a downside to constantly being online.Winner: Caitlin Clarks hot startEveryone expects to see Clark hit from deep when the competition dial is turned down, and thats exactly what she did. She scored Team Spoons first eight points, capped by a 28-foot pull-up and a 33-foot bomb.Heres the winning bit: That first bucket was off a steal in the games first 25 seconds. A STEAL. No one can say on Sunday morning that Clark doesnt play defense. It was all in good fun, and she later contributed to a few trap attempts. Clark scored 17 points with 5 assists and 4 rebounds in 20 minutes. It was her second All-Star Game on the court after missing last years festivities in Indianapolis due to injury.Loser: All-Star game rule changeThose could have been 4-point shots. Or 5-points, as Clark pushed for throughout Friday, until hearing there wouldnt be any extra points at all.Winner: The trophies!Multiple players didnt let the joke slip by that the growth of the league and All-Star weekend is clear in the size of the trophies. We all remember the infamous 2022 childrens toy held by MVP Kelsey Plum.Azzi Fudd holds her hefty 3-Point Contest trophy on Friday night. (Photo by Geoff Stellfox/Getty Images)Geoff Stellfox via Getty ImagesWinner: Brands and businessThe WNBA is Big Business. Nothing showcases that better than All-Star weekend, where the WNBA Live activations and parties multiply every year. The league expected more than 30,000 people to roll through the WNBA Live space at the McCormick Convention Center, and sold tickets to it for the first time at nearly $40 apiece. Players rolled through for various showings and competitions throughout the weekend.Brands are showing up in more spaces than that, hosting parties attended by players and showcased throughout their social media pages.Under Armour pledged $500 for each 3-pointer made by Marina Mabrey in the Friday night competition, and printed Mabrey money in her honor. The first-time All-Star briefly forgot about that branding after a dazzling performance during the All-Star Game, but recovered (a common occurrence for many players in a party-filled weekend) and highlighted her brand partner.I think it works all over the world, Mabrey said of the money. I think it works anywhere. But its best if you use it in the club.Mabrey scored 23 points in her first All-Star and gave everyone another precious moment attempting to barista for her family at the Unrivaled pop-up. No crashouts for @mmabrey1 but the saxophones were definitely getting louder pic.twitter.com/bWlPH9pI2B Unrivaled Basketball (@Unrivaledwbb) July 24, 2026Loser: Friday nights showingThe last time Chicago hosted All-Star festivities, the opening night competitions were held at nearby McCormick Place. Though no tickets were sold for a court set up at the convention center, EYBL participants did attend.Attendance might have been higher for that one than the 2026 events. A majority of seats were empty by the start of the Shooting Stars competition, and many remained that way throughout the night. The competitions were fun enough, but they only lasted one hour.As the WNBA expands All-Star, it should look to provide a richer experience on Friday night. A stilted one-hour showing isnt much of a draw, and the fans lingering outside at the restaurants that remained open an hour later show there is a market for more. The celebrity 3-point contest put on at WNBA Live on Saturday could be an option, with more pop culture involvement. Aubrey Plaza could be healthy and available next year just saying.Loser: Chicago as hostTo be perfectly clear, Chicagos turn hosting 2026 All-Star went well. There were no major guffaws; the city itself delivers a perfect summer showing, complete with a rare couple of July days in the 70s.Putting All-Star in a larger city results in a watered-down product forced to compete with everything else. The All-Star branding showed better in places like Phoenix and Indianapolis because of their downtown size. This years main headquarters in the South Loop posed logistical challenges. And while the Nike Tournament of Champions lends itself well to a weekend celebrating the WNBA, it also takes away from the professional league. The convention center and local hotels were packed with high school athletes focused on their own games, not necessarily engulfed in the WNBAs event. It was also notable how loud the massive crowd at United Center roared for their former Sky stars, including Mabrey, Angel Reese and 2021 champion Kahleah Copper. An organization can truly thrive here.0 Comments 0 Shares 47 Views 0 Reviews

SPORTS.YAHOO.COMRed Sox acquire Curtis Mead from Nationals in exchange for Connelly EarlyWASHINGTON, DC - JULY 06: Curtis Mead #45 of the Washington Nationals celebrates with teammates after hitting a home run against the Houston Astros at Nationals Park on July 06, 2026 in Washington, DC. (Photo by G Fiume/Getty Images) | Getty ImagesThe Red Sox traded Connelly Early to the Nationals today in a trade that may or may not prove to to be a good move. Thats right: Im not afraid of the hot takez! Its hard to say farewell to Early. A homegrown left-handed starter is the single most valuable commodity in baseball. But, moreover, he seemed like a genuinely great dude, one who burst onto the scene in memorable fashion last year, and, judging by the picture below, had already started production on a 1997 TBS sitcom called South Pause about two rookie pitchers who quit baseball to become small town detectives. But for as much as the fans loved him, he had plenty of question marks in his game. Never a highly pedigreed prospect, Earlys home run rate started to tick up at an alarming rate this year and his FIP is a full run higher than his ERA right now. And, oh yeah, hes injured, but that goes without saying in light of the fact that hes a Major League pitcher. Still, whenever you give up a young lefty who has already had big league success, you better get a good return. So is Curtis Mead good? He has been this year. Hes shown real pop in his bat, and its of the right-handed this guy would crush at Fenway variety. Hes been getting on base, with a .351 OBP that will trail only Willson Contreras and Connor Wong when he joins the Red Sox lineup. And hes hit righties nearly as well as he hits lefties. The problem is that hes shown these abilities for only the last three months. In the parts of three seasons Mead had played coming into 2026, he put up a total of -0.2 bWAR, with just 5 home runs and an OBP that sat right at .300. And if youre wondering whether he made up for that black hole of a bat with production on other areas of the diamond, he didnt; Mead has below average speed and is a butcher of an infielder whose natural position is DH. If Mead is coming over here to play in the infield, hes mostly likely going to slot in at third, pushing Gold Glove-caliber fielder Caleb Durbin to second and, thus, downgrading two positions at once. Not great.Of course, Mead could just be a bit of a late bloomer. He did come out of Australia, after all, where he didnt even focus on baseball until giving up Aussie Rules Football as a teenager. And he showed enough talent stateside to crack the rankings of every major prospect list at one point or another, topping at #36 for Baseball America, #33 for MLB Pipeline, and #16 for Baseball Prospectus. Moreover, the numbers under the hood this year dont point to luck, as he has an expected wOBA of .350 compared to his actual wOBA of .371. The Red Sox have pitching depth, even if its being majorly tested right now. They dont have enough pop in the lineup. Dealing from strength to address weakness is what youre supposed to do as long as the deal isnt too lopsided.Sometimes players take some time to adjust to big league baseball. Sometimes players have flukey runs of good production and then turn back into whatever the Australian version of a pumpkin is. Craig Breslow is making a major bet that Curtis Mead fits into the former category.0 Comments 0 Shares 45 Views 0 Reviews

SPORTS.YAHOO.COMFormer All-Pro WR DeAndre Hopkins spotted on Patriots practice fieldFormer NFL wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was seen working with the New England Patriots' wide receivers during a contested catch drill at Day 1 of training camp practice on Saturday. On Friday, Vrabel indicated that Hopkins would be working with the team in a coaching capacity. The five-time All-Pro receiver hasn't officially retired from the NFL, but he appears to be exploring his potential post-playing career option as a coach. It's a win for the Patriots getting an elite talent like Hopkins in the building to work with some of the younger receivers on the roster. Having Hopkins and A.J. Brown in the same building in any capacity represents a treasure trove of infinite wisdom for the other players on the roster.
