He said, I I can I can relate back to all of my successful years I had as as a manager when those years come around my management of that team was probably less than any other years. The little stuffs all done by the senior players.That, in turn, allows a head coach to focus on larger decisions. All you got to worry about is the tactics, the big stuff, the big decisions, whos playing, who isnt playing. It makes the job so much easier. He went further still, saying, You aint got to worry about timekeeping. You aint got to worry about um, you know, disrespecting the staff member, which some players do. You aint got to manage any of that because its all being managed by the senior players or the senior group.The alternative, Pardew warned, is draining for any manager. If you dont have that, youre micromanaging all the time using and the manager is then using up his energy. Hes getting frustrated.
