The Washington Commanders and Stefon Diggs made it official on Wednesday. The two sides agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $12 million. The move was unanimously approved by media and fans alike. Diggs gets what he wanted all along: to play for the Commanders, his hometown team. Washington gets what it needs: a proven top receiver to pair with Terry McLaurin and give quarterback Jayden Daniels another top weapon. On paper, it's a perfect match for all sides. Diggs will sign his contract and be on the field Friday when the Commanders return to practice. The four-time Pro Bowler was present for Maryland's fall camp practice on Wednesday. Diggs, a Maryland alum, has been working out with the Terrapins while awaiting his next move.
