First 2-woman Bobsleigh World Cup victory since January 2022 for the two-time Olympic Champion: Kaillie Armbruster Humphries, 2-woman Bobsleigh Olympic Champion in 2010 and 2014 and four-time World Champion, celebrated her first victory in the race series in almost three years at the fourth IBSF World Cup in the Olympic winter. With brakewoman Emily Renna, Armbruster Humphries relegated Lisa Buckwitz / Lauryn Siebert (0.27 seconds behind) to second place in Sigulda 🇱🇻. In the first run, Buckwitz / Siebert improved the five-year-old start record in Sigulda, set at the time by their teammates Laura Nolte / Deborah Levi, to 5.18 seconds. ✨ World Champion and defending World Cup title holder Laura Nolte (0.28 seconds behind) took third place with her brakewoman Leonie Kluwig, just one hundredth of a second behind.
