It just might not happen this year.First, the Red Sox added to an already-crowded infield on Saturday when they traded for Washington Nationals infielder Curtis Mead."If Mead is the regular second baseman for the foreseeable future, hes going to box out a number of others," Masslive.com's Sean McAdam wrote Sunday."The Sox currently have (deep breath): Trevor Story, Marcelo Mayer, Anthony Seigler, Tsung-Che Cheng, Romy Gonzalez, Andruw Monasterio and Isiah Kiner-Falefa all capable of playing shortstop and/or second base and theres not going to be room for all of them."That gives interim manager Chad Tracy a slew of options on a daily basis, but someone is going to have to go to make room for Meads arrival," McAdam added.Keep in mind that Story, Mayer and Kiner-Falefa currently on the injured list and the Red Sox sent Cheng down Sunday to make room on the roster for Mead.Still, an argument could be made that Arias deserves to be in the mix. The only thing Caitlin Clark happens to be is white and play a very different brand of basketball and went to Iowa and created this entire fan base that followed her.She played the game differently from other white and Black players and played a style of basketball that I hadnt seen a female play. Now, I do think the media makes this into a race story exactly how Monica McNutt just did. She doesnt owe fucking anybody anything. She always takes the high road. If she if she shes actually more than lived up to her bargain by consistently taking the high road.Its all the other players, starting with Angel Reese or whoever, who have taken cheap shots at her, both on the court, in the media.
